While you are wearing your denture and find that you cannot wear them any more because
your gums are too tender and gets sore spots often. If you are unable to wear the ordinary dentures then the dentist have to send the dentures to the
denture technician to have them reline the dentures with materials that is somewhat pliable. After receiving pliable on your dentures it has be replace
every one (1) to two (2) years.

The pliable can range anywhere from wax to hard rubber. Generally it will be less likely for the patient to receive the sore spots any more, unlike the
ordinary acrylic that is pink.

In some cases, after the patient receives the soft relining the sore spots can be cases something else other than the dentures them self. The sore
spots could be caused by an overbuilt on the dentures or the resorbed ridge could be unstable and must keep giving contact force on their teeth to keep
the denture in place. Both of the conditions can be fixed. In some cases a simple surgery that is not very expensive or a expensive implant to retain
the dentures.

If you are not sure what is casing the sore spots then try to do lease expensive procedure first. Then if that doesn't work then go down the line from
their until the sore spots are gone. If you have to have any type of surgeries, after receiving the soft relining, it will be ok. Usually after any
kind of surgery that happens in the mouth can very sore to the jaw it self. Then having the soft relining, can help the sore in the jaw.
